Wright on the Edge is a news/talk radio show hosted by the no-nonsense, self-described rebel Wendy and her diplomatic, millennial niece, Kristine. Sharing their thoughts about timely topics dealing with self-improvement, social justice, and pop culture, the two incite provocative discussion from all angles.
Callers from different races, religions, cultures and lifestyles chime in with comments that range from wise, to controversial, to downright foolish! However, the goal is for all to walk away empowered to take action and enlightened in their understanding of issues that affect us in sometimes very different ways .

Wendy Wright is a student of truth, although she calls herself a rehabilitated fool! Now a successful entrepreneur, Wendy’s free spirit led her to drop out of high school so she could experience the world. But it was misadventure that helped her see the value in a more formal education. She ultimately received her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from Temple University and a Master’s Degree in Television, Radio, and Film at Syracuse. Wendy uses Wright on the Edge as a platform for continuing her education in humanity and her role as an American citizen. She brings captivating information to the community from her perspective as a single woman, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a voter, a business owner, a resident of the Washington DC metro area, and lifelong learner. Wendy is an advocate for families with special needs children, animal rights, and healthy living.
Kristine Hadeed is a an award-winning poet, writer, and active volunteer who enjoys learning new words and watching TEDTalks online. As a multi-racial, formerly-homeschooled student and the oldest of 11 children, Kristine brings a unique perspective to Wright on the Edge by challenging listeners to look at racial and social issues from alternative and unconventional perspectives. Coupled with Wendy’s impassioned viewpoints, Kristine’s youthful energy and witty insights keep Wright on the Edge listeners entertained and engaged. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
